Nonfiction Reading in Middle and Secondary Classrooms

In this workshop, participants will explore five comprehension strategies that adolescent readers need to develop in order to be effective readers of nonfiction.  The workshop will use examples from middle and secondary school content area classrooms as well as English Language Arts classrooms.  

Target Audience:Teachers in grades 6-12
