This session provides PE teachers with an Ultimate Frisbee Unit and individual lesson plan ideas. The lesson will focus on technical skill development, small-sided game ideas, and ways to connect the concept of self-officiation to the Core Competencies. Active participation isn't a must, but it is encouraged.
This will be an interactive presentation so athletic wear is encouraged.
Target Audience: Middle and High School P.E. teachers or Ultimate Frisbee coaches
Ashlee is a teacher and Ultimate Frisbee coach at Kelowna Secondary. She has played Ultimate for the past 10 years at a competitive level and she is currently working to develop youth participation in the sport across SD23.
