The ELL population is growing in the Okanagan, and many students arrive to classrooms with minimal English. This session is for classroom teachers (and supporting teachers) looking for strategies to differentiate content for ELL students. The District ELL Team will offer practical tools for translation, boosting interaction, and simplifying student output. The main tech tools that we will address include Google Translate, ipads, Youtube, Google Docs/Slides, and websites with leveled texts.

Target Audience: intermediate, middle, secondary classroom teachers and ELL/LAT specialists
