Are you interested in some tips and tricks to get your students to go beyond the literal and delve into sub-textual meaning?  This workshop is designed to help you guide students in art of close text analysis.  We will be looking at some really simple techniques to get your students thinking and writing at a very competent level.  Be prepared for an student experience to familiarize yourself with how it feels to be in a classroom again.  If time permits, we will also look at techniques to decode visual media as well.
