Snowshoeing is a great winter activity, often possible even in downtown Kelowna. It involves physical activity along with nature study.
This will be a two- to three-hour snowshoe trip offered at the Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club trails at McCulloch Lake. There is the possibility of continuing this activity after lunch (bring your own).

Meet at the Apple Bowl parking lot for carpooling at 0800 (near the garbage cans nearest Burtch) or at the main parking lot of the Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club on McCulloch Road (https://kelownanordic.com/trail-info/map-to-the-kelowna-nordic-ski-club/ shows the location) at 0845.

Requires attendees to have snowshoes. A few pairs may be available for free; contact Rick ahead of time. Others can be rented from MEC or Fresh Air Experience.
